My Daddy's 60th birthday party

Yesterday I threw my dad a 60th birthday party at my brother, Dustin's house. It turned out to be an awesome day. I am so proud of the cake. I had it done at Kroger. I gave them a picture and they scanned it onto edible icing and put it on the cake. It turned out so awesome.

Whew we are busy

So this week has been pretty busy. I have really been sticking to my walking. Wednesday I walked with Jenn around her neighborhood about 4. It is so nice walking in the afternoon and getting it over with. Thursday we decided to walk at 3:30. It was so windy but turned out to be great resistance. My legs and butt were killing me Friday morning. Thursday evening we went to Tasha's for dinner. She cooked lasagna and decided to share with us since Aaron is gone. Friday we had MOPS and then went to McDonalds afterwards to let the kiddos play. Not mine of course, Jenn's daughter, Kiera and Jakob and Kate. Then last night I went to a crop at Jenn's house witht he babies until 3 am!!!!! Holy crap that's so late. The babies did so well otherwise I would not have stayed that late. I fed them and put them to sleep before I got to Jenn's and they slept until midnight. I fed them and they went right back to sleep. When I got home I fed them again and they slept until the lawn man came at 8:30 AM!!!! The guy comes once a month and today was the day. Oh well I am off to bed after this.
I plan to go and join Jazzercise on Tuesday. I am at the size I want to be and in order to stay here I have to get crackin.
Both babies are doing so much lately. Lily is babbling and smiling like crazy. She still has her stomach issues but they are both so happy. Tomorrow we get to see the whole family at Pawpaw's 60th birthday party. YIPPY!!!!

PS~ I am so mad. I have tried and tried to add videos from Photbucket. I have never had a problem until the past few days. I don't mind uploading them from blogger but it takes FOREVER!!!!

OK as I was saying

like 3 days ago. Sorry I got busy. We have a new and improved bedtime routine. We give the babies their last bottle at 6:30 pm and they are sound asleep by 7 to 7:30 pm. It has been really nice the past week. I get to spend more time with Aaron and Ashley and we have even been able to watch a few movies. I go to bed about 9 and the babies wake up again at midnight and then about 4 am.
The babies have been so smiley lately. It has been so cute seeing them smile and laugh at every little thing. Finally they are starting to interact. I know it goes by so fast so we are trying to remember every moment. The babies favorite thing right now is when Aaron or I dance around to the music on their bouncer. Preston laughs out loud and Lily smiles real big when they watch us.
I am still working on their scrapbook. It is so easy when you start at birth and not try to put a scrapbook together when your baby is 13. Poor Ashley. I had great intentions for her book but never got around to it. I am working on a smaller book that highlights her though.
Yesterday we went and ate lunch with Ashley at her school. All the teachers and students loved the babies. Of course they all thought they were the cutest babies ever!!!! After that we went to my old office to visit my old boss who wasn't there a few weeks ago when we visited. It's so nice to be able to get out and I am so grateful that the babies travel so well. I guess they are used to it since I am a girl on the go. I will be home the rest of the week until Friday when we have MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) and a Scrapbooking party at my friend Jenn's. YIPPY!!!! The babies are coming so I am not sure how much I will get done. Hopefully they will be sleeping. :) Then Sunday we have my dad's 60th birthday party I am planning. I am so excited. I love parties. Since Aaron is in Scotland I am solo for the next week and a half. Wish me luck!!!

Preston has been babbling up a storm lately. I finally got it on video. Lily just started the past few days. I haven't caught her on video yet.

12 weeks old

You would think 12 weeks is the same as 3 months right.........wrong! My ticker says they are 2 months 3 weeks and 3 days. So I am going with 12 weeks. Meme came over today to visit and we went to Dustin and Tasha's to visit. The kids love the babies so much. All Kate wants to do is hold their hand. So cute!!!
So big for 12 weeks :(
